Service Requests
Do you need support?
Support for Workday is available to employees at all member colleges. It’s simple, just submit a service request through your college’s Help/Service Desk. They work with your college’s subject matter experts to answer questions, resolve challenges, and complete requests. If needed, your college will forward your request to the CHESS Service Desk for resolution.
Change Board
Do you feel that a CHESS Workday configuration change may be needed?
All configuration change requests must go through the Workday Support Team to evaluate impact and effort, then be submitted to the Change Board for approval.
What is a Change Board?
A change board, often found in organizational settings, is a structured group responsible for evaluating and approving proposed changes to systems, processes, or projects within the company. Its primary function is to ensure that any modifications align with the organization’s objectives, adhere to relevant policies and standards, and minimize potential risks. Typically composed of key stakeholders from various departments, the change board facilitates communication, assesses impacts, and ultimately decides on the implementation of changes to promote efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
Next Step: The Change Board Review process begins by submitting a service request with your college. The ticket will be reviewed and escalated to the Change Board as appropriate.
