CHESS members Central New Mexico Community College, Clovis Community College, Northern New Mexico College, Santa Fe Community College, San Juan College, and Luna Community College are live in Workday technologies for Finance, Human Resources and Payroll. Workday launched on time and in budget. The first in the nation to collaborate across colleges on this unique undertaking!
The Collaborative for Higher Education Shared Services, or CHESS, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that employs a unique solution to align student services and key business processes using as its foundation a more efficient, secure, and fully integrated Enterprise Resource Planning and Student Information System.
Through better student opportunities, shared resources, and improved administrative efficiencies, the project outcomes focus on improving the student experience, closing achievement gaps, saving costs for students and tax payers, and adapting and standardizing best practices for business operations and technology security.
